وصف الشركة Katara Art Center (KAC) is an independently run platform founded in 2012 by Tariq Al Jaidah, dedicated to contemporary art and trans-disciplinary creative endeavors, projects, and practices KAC acts as a hub for emerging cultural communities in response to the need for a critical grassroots and multidisciplinary framework in Doha that engages with socially relevant issues and events both contemporary and historical. Artists, designers and the public of all ages are encouraged to expand and challenge their understanding of contemporary art and creative disciplines. Through the facilitation of theoretical and practical programs, KAC encourages and fosters the construction of productive and sustainable collaboration among individuals and institutions locally and internationally, beyond reactionary market trends.
