Established in 1960, Khonaysser Motors was dealing with used diesel engines, large vehicles and heavy equipment machineries as well as providing servicing for them. With the development and the increase of the power sector in the world and the NEMA region, Khonaysser Motors focused on diesel generating sets by 1990. By 1997, Khonaysser Motors was appointed the exclusive agent for Volvo Penta Industrial and Marine products in Lebanon which drove the company to be a full scale international producer and supplier for power generating sets, spare parts along with the after sales service network. By 2005, Khonaysser Motors committed itself to support the regional infrastructure and expansion of multi disciplines in Qatar by opening a branch under the name of Qatar Generators Co. Through that period Qatar Generators Co proved its name and reputation of its mother company and became one of the leading suppliers of electromechanical systems in Qatar by maintaining a large inventory of engines, alternators and spare parts which ensures autonomy and minimizes costly delays helping us to serve efficiently our clients. Because of the increasing market demand, Qatar Generators provided rental solutions with innovative turnkey solutions which are implemented by its own highly qualified team of people. By 2012, due to the high market demand, and in order to serve our clients more efficiently and meeting the different aspects of nowadays demanding technologies, the company has been restructured by opening a new branch under the name of Khonaysser Motors Qatar dealing with the sale and servicing of generating sets and keeping the rental business to Qatar Generators Co.
