Qatar Speed House (QSH) was established as a subsidiary of Aal Imran Housing in 2002 to address the growing need in the Qatari construction market for quick, flexible and innovative residential and business housing solutions. Using non-traditional construction methods and a highly skilled workforce, the company is able to complete projects in shorter time periods at lower costs, whilst maintaining the quality that customers have come to expect. Systems of Construction 1. Standard System This system is best suited for the construction of portable units; the units consist of steel base, heat and fire resistant walls, roof trusses with heat insulation and covered by aluminium or pre-painted G.I sheeting. This system is used in the construction of Mosques, Majlises, Offices, Ablution Areas, Kitchens, Mess Halls, and Labour Camps. 2. Modular System The concept of this system based on using steel sections in modular distances to form the structure of the building which covered by insulated steel sandwich panels for walls and roofs. This system is best suited for the construction of Labour Camps, Army Camps, and Administration Offices. This flexible product is custom made which is manufactured according to the clients’ requirement. Buildings can be assembled and reassembled for many times by changing just few spare parts. The materials of the walls are double-face color steel sandwich panel with polystyrene layer inside. The roof tile is corrugated steel sheet with polystyrene insulation. Because of the air layer between the roof panels and ceiling, it has good insulation. The door is made of sandwich panel and the window is made of P.V.C. The assembled house can be done only by simple tools. 6 workers can erect a 40m² in 8 hours. One more prefab unit (960 mm) can be added or deducted freely in the length and width direction. The area of the house can be increased or decreased freely. The position of the door, window and the wallboard can be changed freely. 3. Light Gauge Steel Structure System This is best suited for the construction of villas, residential and commercial compounds with high standards and luxury finishing.
