The main campus of Carnegie Mellon is located in Pittsburgh, USA, and has a tradition of creating work that matters. A private, global research university, Carnegie Mellon stands among the world’s most renowned educational institutions. Carnegie Mellon Qatar was established in 2004 at the invitation of Qatar Foundation. Graduates can have CMU degrees, conferred from the Pittsburgh campus.
The degrees issued by Carnegie Mellon are the same degrees and curriculum that students receive at the Pittsburgh campus. Undergraduate degrees are offered in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computational Biology, and Biological Sciences (a degree offered in conjunction with Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar). All five majors require four years of full time study to earn a Bachelor of Science degree.
