Arab Bank headquartered in Amman, Jordan is the largest global Arab banking network with over 600 branches spanning five continents. Arab Bank is also present in key financial markets and centers such as Doha, London, Dubai, Singapore, Geneva, Paris, Frankfurt, Sydney and Bahrain.
With seven investors, Arab Bank was registered in 1930 and commenced its operations in Jerusalem. Abdul Hameed Shoman, the founder was named the Bank’s first chairman. Since its founding, the Bank’s legacy has been to act as an active and leading partner in the socio-economic development of the region. In 1948, the Bank’s headquarters were transferred to Amman, Jordan, where it was officially incorporated as a public shareholding company.
