We have been perfecting the art of creating high-quality food for decades that is loved by the people of Qatar. Our artisanal nature also enables us to customize high-quality products according to the unique requirements of customers in the HORECA food service sectors. Today the expanded range includes other products made in the traditional Italian method. Our most popular products are a line of GELATO (traditional Italian ice cream), SORBETTO (frozen sherbet dairy dessert), TIRAMISU (Italian dessert made of sponge cake, chocolate & cheese) and FRESH PASTA (which also includes a Ready To Eat range). Our philosophy is that no matter what the product, the quality, and taste should never be compromised. This mission is achieved by following the Italian tradition of choosing only the best quality ingredients while focusing on strict hygiene standards and production processes. Our quest for the highest quality has been attested by the HACCP certification, apart from frequent audits by the local Municipality and multinational customers including Qatar Airways, Carrefour Retail, and the US Army. We also import and distribute a selection of fine, high-quality products from around the world. We offer the same to you through our retail distribution that reaches all the leading supermarkets in Qatar and through our home delivery service which you can avail by calling us or ordering through this site. AMWAJ Catering Services Company was incorporated towards the end of 2006 with paid up capital of QAR 100m under the direction of His Excellency Abdullah Bin Hamad AI-Attiyah, the Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman and Managing Director of Qatar Petroleum at that time, as a fully owned subsidiary of Qatar Petroleum (QP). The immediate objective of forming AMWAJ was to provide a fully owned Qatari Catering Company to provide services, to QP and its subsidiaries & affiliates, which were at the time met by multiple foreign industrial catering service providers. In forming AMWAJ, Qatar Petroleum planned to have a professional hospitality service provider, specifically geared to Oil & Gas sector contracts, working to the highest International standards. During this initial phase, AMWAJ was supported by two consultancies, KPMG from Doha and the Russell Partnership from the United Kingdom, who are leading international catering industry specialists. The guidance of the consultant is being used to ensure that the systems and procedures AMWAJ puts in place, for instance in Quality and HSE management, are the most up to date, effective and to the highest possible international standards. AMWAJ started out as a fully owned subsidiary of QP, but now it is part of Gulf International Services Holding Company which is listed on the Qatari stock market, leading to the creation of a truly National Catering Company. At AMWAJ, we believe that the development of fully owned Qatari hospitality business will bring long-term economic benefits to the country.

We would like to introduce to you our new product “Dates” which is one of the most selling food now a day. These are Zahedi, Sayer, and Kabkab Dates which is the top varieties of dates in the world.
Zahidi date has a mildly sweet, nutty and buttery flavor with a subtle tang reminiscent of dried apricots. It is highly nutritious and a rich source of dietary fiber and they contain iron, potassium, B-vitamins, flavonoids, antioxidants and almost all twenty amino acids.
Sayer Date is free of pesticides and chemicals and is totally organic and despite being dry is so sweet and because of storage properties can remain healthy out of the refrigerator for two years which this situation has resulted in high utility in the export.
Kabkab date is a very suitable date for industrial usage and this date are nectarous and soft with a wide range of use in food industries and bakeries.
