The school was founded in 2009 in Dafna ƒ?? Qatar with full accreditation by (AdvancED) organization, followed by the launch of our Maamoura campus in 2011 offering PS-Grade 9 education. AHIS is proud to cater to the needs of Qatar’s local and expat community by offering quality education meeting international standards. As our students work towards attaining an American Diploma, we, at Al Hekma pride ourselves on creating a healthy atmosphere, taking into consideration various psychological and social aspects which not only ensure the success but create confident leaders of tomorrow. AHIS expertise extends back to 1985 when the first campus was launched in Bahrain. The campus offers a co-educational American curriculum for grades PS-12 and is fully accredited by the Bahraini Ministry of Education and the Middle States Association for Accreditation of Colleges & Schools (MSA) in the USA. AHIS is also affiliated with worldwide recognized educational institutions that provide professional development and support for improvement and growth such as (NESA, NBOA, ASCD, AAIE, PTC, and NAIS).
