وصف الشركة FROM A CHALLENGING IDEA TO A SUCCESSFUL FRANCHISE In the late 1980's Mrs. Sawsan Wazzan Jabri and Mr. Rifaat Jabri living in the United States , witnessed a growing trend in the North American market: the expansion of Diet Centers. Being nutritionists themselves, and health conscious, they undertook a study of the Middle East markets. These studies proved that the opportunity existed in this area of service, and they confidently proceeded to lay the foundations for their venture. To better evaluate the opinion of the Lebanese community living in their residing state, they started experimenting with a variety of Lebanese dishes. All these were prepared in a way that was healthy, low calorie – without losing the important aspect of taste. The congratulations they received encouraged them to pursue their efforts of changing people's eating habits, and allowed them to get ahead in the promotion of their concept. By the early 1990's, they chose to come back to Lebanon , to launch the Nutrition & Diet Center . The aim was to provide high quality nutritious meals, sweets and diet-shelved items to a market completely lacking in this area. As the health concept of Nutrition & Diet Center , developed and gained strength in Lebanon , a need was emerging to expand the experience to other countries starting with Saudi Arabia . To achieve this, a strong and reliable counterpart was necessary and the Nutrition and Diet Center teamed up with a leading Saudi company in institutional catering in general and health care catering in particular. The Nutrition & Diet Center Holding Co. was born to become responsible for promoting & managing the franchises. The first experience was in Riyadh in 1996, then in Jeddah in 1999, in Cairo in 2000, Kuwait 2000, Qatar 2004. The Nutrition and Diet Center has been a pioneer in the field of nutrition and weight loss in the region since its inception. It has been creating awareness in the area and educating people, for over 10 years, and this through two distinctive entities, the Diet Center (Diet programs and nutrition consultations) and the Diet Shops (which are outlets that deliver and provide healthy dining and commissaries). OUR SERVICES INCLUDE Nutritional consultations. Design nutrition & diet programs. Produce and market a variety of light and great-tasting foods. Implement healthy lifestyle principles through education and support. Operate fine dining restaurants and cafés, outside catering and take-out shops and pastry houses. Diet Center Divisions The diet center will provide you with answers to all your weight and nutritionally related medical problems. With its many divisions, the Diet Center will individually tailor a health and diet plan that will surely suit your dietary needs and goals. The center includes the following divisions: 1- Diet Center Clinics Here you will be able to meet with a dietitian to discuss and consult on your diet and food habits. The dietitian will make an assessment and give you answers that are tailored to your health needs. You can either take your health plan and follow it up on your own or you will be provided with a complete program from the center. 2- Diet Center Kitchen The healthy Kitchens where all nutritive and healthy meals are prepared and where professional chefs are further trained in the nutritional field. Here the employees work day and night at preparing food suitable for your needs. This way your food will reach you, hassle free, without having to worry about planning your meals. 3- Diet Shop - Take Away & Delivery service The shops are the most convenient places to order a quick breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Your orders will be delivered to you, anywhere. You can also come in and shop at these stores for dietetic products as well as desserts and sweets and take your meal take away. 4- Light Collective Catering Services We offer complete catering services for all events and occasions. We also provide prepare food and lunch boxes for conferences and exhibitions at schools, medical symposiums and universities. 5- NDC international Holding - Management Company Diet Shop - Take Away & Delivery service The shops are the most convenient places to order a quick breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
