Sunbeam Kindergarten opened doors of its centre of excellence in September 2003 for children with Special Educational Needs up to 12 years. The specially designed school is located next to the Kindergarten in the secure confines of the Al Bayyan Gardens Compound, Near to Al Saad Sports Stadium. A large bright multi purpose hall feeds 3 large fully resourced Special Education classrooms, 2 Therapy room with a third Therapy room located outside. The British Special Educational Needs (SEN) curriculum is used to teach all the children, along with the child's own Individual Educational Plan. There is a large fully equipped outdoor playground including grassed area, sandpit and cycling space.
