This Ethics Teachers' Training Course in Doha, Qatar, is a collaborative effort involving UNESCO, Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar, and the Qatar National Commission for Education, Culture and Science. The course offers a unique opportunity for participants from Qatar and from other countries in the region to enhance their teaching capacities in ethics.
The Ethics Teachers' Training Course (ETTC) is designed to advance pedagogical capacity for ethics teaching and improve the quality of ethics education around the world.
The activity is aimed at training teachers who have recently begun teaching, or will soon commence their teaching careers at various institutions of higher education. The objective is to train teaching experts by providing methodological tools in bioethics education (deliberative method, problematizing methodology, case use, problem-based teaching, etc.).
The training course will be conducted in English by a team of international experts with extensive experience in ethics education.
