تلفزيون قَطَر هو التلفزيون الحكومي الرسمي لدولة قطر ، يبث من عاصمتها الدوحة.
كانت بداية تلفزيون قطر في عام 1970 عندما تشكل تلفزيون قطر الحكومي وكان البث بالأبيض والأسود وفي عام 1974 بدأ بثه بالارسال الملون عام 1982 انطلق بث القناة الثانية 37 باللغة الإنجليزية، وعرض من خلالها المسلسلات والأفلام الأمريكية والهندية، وكذلك البرامج الوثائقية والفكاهية. كما أنها كانت تنقل المباريات الرياضية والمناسبات الهامة على الهواء .. يذكر أن القناة قد تم إيقاف بثها في 27/7/2014 وفي عام 1981 افتتح في تلفزيون قطر استديو للاعمال التلفزيونية وهو استديو 4 ، الذي تم اغلاقة بعد 20 سنة من افتتاحه وأصبح جزءاً من مبنى بي إن سبورت (الجزيرة الرياضية سابقاً) . وفي عام 1998 بدأ البث الفضائي للقناة الأولى عبر الاقمار الصناعية ، ومن تلك الاقمار عرب سات ، ونايل سات ، وهوت بيرد

أسست صحيفة العرب في عام 1972 كأول صحيفة يومية سياسية جامعة تصدر في قطر عن دار العروبة للصحافة والطباعة والنشر والتوزيع. أسسها عميد الصحافة القطرية الأستاذ عبد الله حسين نعمة، رحمه الله حيث شغل منصب رئيس التحرير المسؤول. صدرت العرب في بدايتها بست صفحات، وكانت تباع في ذلك الوقت بما قيمته 50 درهما، وكان لها مراسلون في كل من القاهرة وعمَـان والجزائر. هذا وقد استمرت العرب بالصدور حتى عام 1996 وكان آخر أعدادها يحمل الرقم 7096 صدر في الثاني من يناير، وكان يحتوي على 22 صفحة وبيع بما قيمته ريالان قطريان. استأنف إصدار صحيفة " العرب " في الثامن عشر من نوفمبر عام 2007. وكان العدد الأول منها يحمل الرقم 7097، وهو الرقم المكمل لأخر عدد صدر من صحيفة العرب عام 1996.

أنشئت شركة قطر للأسمدة الكيماوية (قافكو) في سنة ١٩٦٩ كمشروع مشترك بين دولة قطر ومجموعة من الشركاء الأجانب. وتمثل الشركة أول مشروع صناعي في قطاع البتروكيماويات بدولة قطر هدف إلى تنويع الإقتصاد عبر الإستفادة من المخزون الضخم للغاز الطبيعي المتوافر بالدولة. وبعد أن نفذت قافكو بنجاح عدداً من مشاريع التوسعة لمرافق الإنتاج خلال العقود الثلاثة الماضية ارتقت الشركة لتصبح من أكبر منتجي الأسمدة في العالم. وتعود ملكية قافكو إلى صناعات قطر بنسبة 100%.
وبطاقة إنتاجية سنوية وصلت إلى ٣٬٨ مليون طن متري من الأمونيا و5,6مليون طن متري من اليوريا أصبحت قافكو أكبر منتج في العالم لليوريا والأمونيا من موقع واحد. فقطر الآن تأتي في الترتيب الرابع ضمن قائمة أكبر منتجي اليوريا في العالم، معززة بذلك مكانة قطر ودورها الرئيسي في سوق الأسمدة العالمية، ولتصير أيضاً أكبر مصدر لليوريا في العالم بحصة تبلغ حوالي ١٥% من الإمداد العالمي للمنتج، وتصل صادراتها إلى أكثر من ٣٥ بلداً حول العالم .
تسعى الشركة حالياً إلى زيادة إنتاجها من اليوريا الحبيبية مقارنةً باليوريا البلورية، لتلبية الطلب العالمي المتزايد على هذا المنتج. حيث تعتبر اليوريا الحبيبية أكثر ملائمةً لأنماط الزراعة في البلدان المتقدمة والتي تستخدم التقنيات الحديثة. إضافة إلى ذلك، فإن قافكو تخطط إلى إنتاج اليوريا المغلفة بالكبريت (SCU)، وهو منتج يعزز قدرة التربة على إستعادة العناصر المغذية ويزيد إنتاج المحاصيل ويقلل الآثار البيئية السالبة الناتجة عن استخدام اليوريا.

Qatar Petrochemical Company (QAPCO) is a Qatar-based company established in 1974 and is a joint venture between Industries Qatar (80%) and Total Petrochemicals (20%).
QAPCO is one of the largest producers of low density polyethylene (LDPE) in the region. QAPCO is involved in a number of joint ventures that include QATOFIN, QVC and QPPC, thereby, producing various petrochemical products and making QAPCO a regional petrochemical powerhouse.
LDPE is considered as the most widely used type of plastic, with applications such as food packaging, agricultural films, toys, cables and wires, coating, lamination and many other products broadly used all over the planet. The LDPE produced by QAPCO - marketed under the brand name of 'Lotrene' - is a high quality food-contact safe grade polymer and complies with all local, EU and U.S. FDA standards related to food packaging safety.
QAPCO’s manufacturing facilities consist of:
• Three LDPE plants with a total annual capacity of 780 KTPA
• Two ethylene plants with a total annual capacity of 840 KTPA
• A sulphur plant with an annual capacity of 70 KTPA
The LDPE produced in Qatar is exported all around the world. LDPE enriches our everyday life, making it more practical, safer, lighter and better.

تتفرد قطرغاز بمكانتها كشركة عالمية للطاقة من حيث الحجم والخدمات والمصداقية، حيث تقوم الشركة بتشغيل 14 خطاً لإنتاج الغاز الطبيعي المسال بإجمالي قدرة إنتاجية سنوية قدرها 77 مليون طن سنوياً، مما يجعل قطرغاز أكبر منتج للغاز الطبيعي المسال في العالم.
تأسست قطرغاز في عام 1984، وتقوم بتطوير وإنتاج وتسويق الغاز الطبيعي ومشتقاته من أكبر حقل للغاز الطبيعي الغير مصاحب في العالم، فبالإضافة إلى إنتاج الغاز الطبيعي المسال، تعد قطر أيضاً مُصدراً رئيسياً للغاز الطبيعي المسال والهيليوم والمكثفات والمنتجات المصاحبة.
واليوم تواصل قطرغاز إرساء معايير جديدة في صناعة الغاز الطبيعي المسال من خلال قيامها بإمداد العملاء في جميع أنحاء العالم بالطاقة بشكل آمن وموثوق.

On August 2019, NESR Qatar was recognized for conducting a successful fishing operation via 2” Coiled Tubing. The job was to recover a stuck bridge plug from an offshore well. The stuck plug caused the well to remain shut-in.
The job was conducted in two runs. The first run was done using MHA, Heavy Duty Impact Hammer, and flow release overshot. However, the plug could not be latched. In the second run, a modified BHA was carried out and allowed to latch onto the plug fishing neck, but the plug remained stuck. The NESR team then suggested flowing the well to use the fluid velocity to help collapse the plug slips. This approach worked and the plug was freed and brought to surface.
This operation was the first coiled tubing operation for the client, who appreciated our achievement and recognized us for it.
