Qatar Plastic Products Company W.L.L. is one of the biggest downstream companies in Qatar developing and manufacturing flexible packaging using polyethylene resins.
The company was established on 19 September 1998 at a project cost of QR 42 million and a shared capital of QR 27 million. QPPC started commercial production in August 2000 and was inaugurated by His Excellency Abdullah Bin Hamad Al Attiyah (the State of Qatar's Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Energy and Industry) in November 2000. Around 90% of the production is being sold to the local market while the balance is marketed in the other Gulf countries and in Europe.

National Paper Industries Co. (NAPICO) is the oldest and biggest tissue paper converting factory in the State of Qatar. Established in 1991, as a branch of Qatar Industrial Manufacturing Company, started its operations with the converting of Facial Tissues. Gradually over the years, Napico have increased its production capabilities and added other related products such as Toilet Rolls, Kitchen Towels, Maxi Rolls, C Fold and Wet Wipes.
With some fully automated production lines the company has a state-of-the art facility in Salwa Industrial Area, with a capacity to convert about 5,000MT of tissue paper per year.
