Launched in March 2012 by Hassad Food, Qatar’s premier investor in the agriculture and livestock sectors, Roza Hassad has established a new 5.5-hectare, state-of-the-art flower production facility based in Al Shahaniya, Qatar, the first of its kind in the region. The facility has advanced, multi-span, high-roofed greenhouses, with fully automated controls, and utilizes an advanced, computerized fertilization process. It has its own electricity supply, a reverse osmosis facility and adopts all possible environmentally friendly systems.

Al Maktab Al Qatari Al Hollandi W.L.L. operates in Qatar as an integrated distributor of imported floral products, food, non-food stuff and bakery raw-materials from all over the world. Established in 1980 as a partnership between the families of Late Mr. Jaber Aman Al Mohammed and Late Mr. Jurgen Kurras of Netherland based Dutch Arab Traders B.V. MQH started operations as a wholesaler of bakery raw materials and food items. It was in early 90’s that we started to import flowers and plants from Europe and in 1999 we opened our first Plaza Hollandi flowers shop in Landmark. We now have our flower shops in some of the best possible locations in Qatar including the top malls and shopping centers for easy access and availability which are the go-to place for fresh blooms and beautiful and eye-catching flower arrangements. In 2008 we opened our Garden Center with beautiful articraft planters and wide selection of indoor and outdoor plants. From 2010 we have incorporated our Flower Wholesale Division and Events Division, now all is statistically combined in our easy access location.
