In our journey this time, we will take you to a very ancient tradition, to Egypt where history witnesses a story happened there and then moved to Qatar with all its details, tastes and colors. We thought of having a traditional Egyptian restaurant serving dishes you can never taste except in one of the traditional Egyptian restaurants or in its old streets. The idea of Al Mandarah restaurant was a hope or even a dream we had since the beginning of our company, but was delayed a lot due to extensive researches and great deal of obstacles not only in bringing qualified trained staff from Egypt, but also in bringing the concept and taste to Qatar. In the end we managed to bring a part of the Egyptian civilization to Qatar, the land of different cultures, glorious civilization and futuristic luxury. Once you try our food in Al Mandarah restaurant you will be amazed to find it served in the same way and taste of Egypt (with consideration of hygiene terms and taste differences) and you will feel like you are at Al Hussain, Khan El Khalily or one of the old traditional Egyptian neighborhoods.
That sense of uniqueness, delicious taste and the Lebanese music and songs of Fairuz or any other Lebanese or Arabic singers will not make you think of leaving your place, and the longer you stay there, the more you will love the place especially with its soft comfort sofas. That was the secret of the great success of Fairuz restaurant among other Lebanese restaurants in Qatar which considered a new addition to our precious successes.
Our success kept running and so did our creativity and passion for diversity through our Arabic cultures, cuisines and glorious tradition, so there was another addition that still had to be made. After bringing the great Moroccan culture from the far Arabian west and the Lebanese beauty from the Arabian north-east to Qatar in the Middle East, we did not miss to bring another great old glorious Arabian civilization with one of the delicious tastes in the Arabic world to achieve the great combination that no one else did or will do like Al Khaleejiya Hospitality Services & Consultancies as it was the aim from the beginning.

Founded by Mr. Gaston Lenôtre one of the best Pastry Cooks in France during his time.Born on 1920 in Normandy, Gaston Lenôtre quickly showed a true passion for patisserie.•In the year 1947, he opened his store in Normandy. In 1957 along with his wife Colette, he first bought a store in Paris at 44 rue d’Auteuil. It was an immediate success! His exceptionally high productivity was the talent that led him to open a catering department in 1964, and soon he was the artist behind the most lavish celebrations. In 1971, l’Ecole Lenôtre opened up in Plaisir, close to Paris in les Yvelines. Professionals around-the-world over flocked to learn the secrets of this famous pastry chef.
The first international venture was in Berlin in 1975, in Japan, the Middle East, Korea, Las Vegas, and Bangkok to follow. Peking will soon be added to these lists. With Le Pré Catelan in 1976, Le Pavillon Elysée Lenôtre in 1985, Le Panoramique du Stade de France in 1998, and three more thoroughbred venues were successfully added to the stable of Lenôtre – run establishments.
In 1998 Lenôtre Kuwait was inaugurated as an extensive building surrounded by the sea. It is the first cafe created in the Middle East along with its boutique, restaurant and phenomenal catering facilities. This has soon expanded into 5 different prestigious locations in Kuwait covering all the area.
Gaston Lenôtre has imparted the incredible energy that shaped his career to the companies that now bears his name. His values of rigor in the workplace and passing on knowledge are still shared by the 1,400 employees, and are propagated by the training and apprenticeship policy whose main vehicle is L’Ecole Lenôtre, founded in 1971.

In a pre-oil era, Doha was a modest, glitz-free fishing and pearling village. Qatar’s economy depended on the endeavours of Man and his Boat right up until the early 20th century, and sea-based trades were the main sources of income. Fishermen and divers passed skills and methods down through generations, while others learned to fashion intricate tools and build strong, elegant dhows to carry crews of men and their spoils. The traditional boats still bob out on Doha’s horizon, but these days they’re powered by engines, rather than sea breeze. And much like fishing, boat building remains an industry of tradition and a source of great local pride – you can still see craftsmen in action at boat yards near the port.
On top of our extensive seafood selection, we have a menu of starters, sides, sushi and desserts, which is available here. For the full picture, you’ll have to pop in at lunchtime and feast your eyes on the display.
