A first of its kind in the Middle East, the academy continues to unite diverse cultures from the east and west in timeless forms of dance, music, arts, fitness and soft skill courses. IAID has to its credit more than 1,000 students representing more than 80 nationalities. Apart from the professional expertise the academy is supported with fully equipped dance, music, arts and fitness studios spanning over 1,200 sq. m. area in a prime and central location in Doha City.

Our Centre abides by the internationally recognized dancing regulations in order to develop your skills. Members of Algheed Centre will receive certificates for the completion of required levels, and each and every one of the students can choose the activity that suits him/her most.
Our Centre also provides other activities such as bodybuilding and taekwondo for children between the age of 5 and 13, in addition to some other training courses for adults.

The club had the typical start of many Gulf expatriate clubs. Some like-minded, mainly British expatriate workers started throwing a rugby ball around. An "official" club was formed in 1974 and was known as the Qatar Rugby Union Football Club. It is one of the oldest clubs of any type in Qatar and one of the oldest rugby clubs in the Arabian Gulf. The club originally used a sand pitch in West Bay - an area now covered in large office blocks! The club's name was later changed to Qatar Rugby Football Centre for legal reasons. To all we are just "The Rugby Club". In 1974 the AGRFU was formed and the club was a founder member of the organisation. In 1977 the club moved to its present site. From then until today has come a slow improvement in facilities. The most noticeable of events was the laying of a grass pitch in 1998. In the last eight years, the club has undergone tremendous changes following the establishment of our grass playing pitch. This has been a major attraction for new players arriving in Qatar and most importantly for our growing numbers of junior players. As a result, our membership is now much more representative of the many nationalities resident in Qatar. The club has been in the forefront of development of Ladies, Minis and Vets rugby in the Gulf. Our Ladies teams have enjoyed considerable success in recent years at the Dubai 7's competition. It has also been active in promoting the sport amongst Qatari nationals. The club currently fields 2 senior mens teams, a veteran mens team, two ladies teams and a full range of junior sides from under 19 years to under 8 years. There is also a thriving touch rugby league. The club has also been known to field cricket teams and a sister organisation uses our facilities to play Gaelic rugby and other Irish activities. Qatar Badminton club currently also uses the premises. Our site is adjacent to Doha College who also use some of our field and pool facilities. DRFC is always a favorite venue for rugby and football playing naval and military forces visiting Qatar. During the run up to the 2006 Doha Asian games, the club was pleased to offer training facilities and many trial matches to the Qatar national Rugby Team

Since 1998, the trend of Malaysian professional expatriates venturing into Qatar has increased significantly with the numbers has crossed more than one thousand people. The Malaysian Association of Qatar (MAQ), was formed on 14 April 2000 on the recommendation by YB Dato’ Paduka Abdul Kadir Sheikh Fadzir, the then Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, who was on official visit to Qatar.
MAQ is officially recognized by the Government of Malaysia as the Association representing Malaysians in Qatar and patronized by the Ambassador Malaysia to the State of Qatar.

Welcome to Doha Sub Aqua Club (DSAC), branch 0941 of the British Sub Aqua Club (BSAC). DSAC is a non-profit organisation, run by enthusiastic volunteers!
DSAC operates in Doha, State of Qatar, and has a number of active diving members from different nationalities. We meet every Tuesday evening at our clubhouse to talk about what's going on at the club, to arrange the weekend's diving and generally socialize.
We host shore dives every weekend, and whenever the weather permits, we take our club boat out to the variety of offshore wrecks and reefs available in the Qatari waters.

PEACE - is a non-profit organization of car-conscious individuals with a common interest and formed to further the recognition and enjoyment of their automobiles.
PEACE-Qatar was established on 10th of September 2010 and officially recognized by the Philippine Embassy of Doha on 25th of October 2010. With the same objective and passion from the origin, PEACE-Qatar would also persevere what has been initiated, sustain commitments of serving others such as fellow members and Filipino community. Though, we are aware for there are lots of auto clubs in Qatar but it was good to have first PEACE global with not just being an auto enthusiastic but to bring its aspiration to help, give assistance as well to our community and more needy fellows wholeheartedly. This group doesn’t need each member or anyone to have his/her own car to join and have fun, but pleasure to have good and extensive organization to all “Kabayans”. With PEACE, we can spend our spare time such as our day off to share the fun with our families and friends.

Doha Golf Club boasts an 18 hole Championship Course, a 9 hole Academy Course, an enormous driving range and putting green, 8 artificial lakes, graceful landscaping and a beautiful clubhouse designed in old traditional Arabic style, which has been located at one of the highest points on the course giving it a magnificent prominence.
The Championship Course is a tough course from the back tees and offers many strategic and heroic holes where the scratch golfer can test his skills. The course has been designed with two starting and finishing holes which maximises playing flexibility and the number of daily rounds. The unusual 150 hectare site has been enhanced by emphasizing the natural attributes and features. We have created lakes which will double as obstacles and aesthetic features. We have planted about 5000 shrubs, 6000 trees, 10 000 cacti imported from Arizona which will emphasize the nature of the rugged surroundings.
The Academy Course is less demanding and can be played by beginners, ladies and those who want to play a quick nine holes. The fairways are larger, the holes are shorter with less hazards and generally the course will allow the not-so proficient golfer to enjoy the game and the good golfer will have the opportunity to have an enjoyable round during a short break from the office.

The Qatar Cancer Society (QCS) was founded in 1997 under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Jassim Bin Hamad Al Thani and is chaired by H.E. Sheikh Dr. Khalid Bin Jabor Al Thani.
This humanitarian organization is dedicated to the prevention and treatment of cancer and focuses on the implementation of awareness and prevention programs aimed at informing the public and healthcare professionals on the disease itself. QCS reaches out to cancer patients, survivors and their families to help alleviate distress and suffering as well as help facilitate recovery through both emotional, as well as monetary, support.
