The scope of Red Line South contract comprises the design and construction of the underground works below central Doha, including 5 underground stations, between the Msheireb Underground Station and the New Doha International Airport and incorporates 5 switchboxes and 4 underground emergency exits.
This package will approximately comprise 32 km of tunnels at an average depth of 25 meters below ground level utilizing five tunnel boring machines.

Lagoon Energy is a Qatari national contracting firm, specialized in Electrical, Mechanical and Maintenance Works. The company was established in January 2006 as a result of successful partner-ship agreement between Energy Sources, of Saudi Arabia, and Lagoon Qatar.
