Al Khor museum lies in Al Khor town about 57km north of Doha, the museum is a two-storey restored building along the Corniche. The ground floor contains an anthropological section, a section of marine and land life and a section depicting the traditional fishing, diving and shipbuilding for which Al Khor is long famous. The first floor exhibits recently discovered artefacts used in the ancient industries for making dyes from sea shells as well as geological maps showing the changes in Qatar over the last 120,000 years and excavation discoveries in the Al Khor area. The top floor offers good views of the bay and small harbor and entrance is free of charge.

The Sheikh Faisal Museum was established in 1998, in the grand Qatari fort at Al Samriya Farm with its distinctive, breath-taking exterior. Built of local stone, with traditional turrets the building is itself a collector's piece. Designed to preserve and display the extraordinary artefacts collected by Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim bin Faisal Al-Thani, the building's return to historic Qatari architecture resonates against modern day Doha. Sheikh Faisal is dedicated to preserving and promoting particularly Islamic heritage for the people of Qatar and its international visitors. The museum has expanded since its opening, with new facilities for research and education purposes as well as state-of-the art facilities for entertainment in the inimitable Gulf style.
The Museum began life with the natural curiosity of a young man who grew up witnessing the cultural, economic and political transitions of a small peninsula in the Arabian Gulf. He lived hearing the stories of his grandfathers and grew cherishing world's history. His father also encouraged an active interest in cultural heritage on their travels throughout the Gulf region and across the world. Sheikh Faisal eagerly visited museums and archaeological sites during these journeys, and from these adventures grew his particular interest in Qatari and Islamic culture. He took it upon himself to collect and document elements relating to the Arabian Gulf and slowly that interest widened to embrace other areas of the world as he saw how it all connected to one another.

The museum houses a spectacular display of weapons and artifacts dating back to the 16th century. The collection has magnificent ceremonial swords that belonged to members of the Gulf's ruling families: an 18th century gold-encased dagger owned by Sheikh Ali Bin Abdullah Al Thani; a sword belonging to King Faisal Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia; and a khanjar (traditional curved dagger) carried by the famed Lawrence of Arabia. The beauty and rarity of this collection bears witness to craftsmanship that has been lost for generations. The Museum is in the Al Luqta area of Doha and is open mornings, Sunday to Thursday, by appointment only, after obtaining a letter of authorisation from the Museums Authority.

The Fire Station is an interactive artistic platform that brings together talent from various disciplines in one creative and open space. Our aim is to inspire an appreciation of the arts in the very heart of Doha. We are opening its doors to new ideas, concepts and talent, from people of diverse backgrounds. Conservation of the old Civil Defense building and its transformation into the Fire Station Artist in Residence programme for community use is an objective embedded in the Qatar National Vision 2030, set by the Emir of Qatar, H.H. Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. Qatar Museums has evolved the building’s purpose, from one of civil administration to one of civil use. In the past, public visits to this building were limited to schools. Today it is open and accessible to anyone interested in learning about emerging artistic talent in Qatar and the region. The Fire Station runs an Artist in Residence programme that focuses on the visual arts, fashion, anime, performance, multimedia, literature and music, and is open to curators in all disciplines. It will strive to initiate and support new approaches in understanding, producing and valuing art; based on openness, innovation and originality.

Due to completion in a near future, the Photographic Museum was designed by Santiago Calatrava, one of the most famous architects in the world. This unique museum will become a landmark within the urban setting and contribute to the urban development of the area situated in the centre of Doha City. The Government collection of photography - composed of some 15,000 items including historic cameras and accessories, and prominent photographs, 1960s albums and historic documents - will be exhibited, along some temporary exhibitions.

MIA inspires the future
Under the patronage of HE Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al Thani, Chairperson Qatar Museums Authority, the Museum of Islamic Art has become one of the foremost museums of Islamic art, as well a center of education and learning in the field of the arts of the Islamic world.
The museum opened in 2008 to great acclaim and has received its one millionth visitor in 2013. An iconic feature of the Doha skyline, the Museum of Islamic Art represents the full scope of Islamic art from three continents over 1,400 years.

Organizing traffic movements was started in Qatar from the date the people started using vehicles. The Law enforcement force of that time took the responsibility of controlling traffic movements in the Qatar where the numbers of vehicles were very less.
The traffic law No. (17) was issued in the year 1968 to organize the traffic rules and disciplines in a time when the signs and features of development was witnessed in the country along with increase in the numbers of vehicles and driving licenses issued for people in addition to increment in population density.
In the shades of developments and opulence seen commonly in all parts of the country which convoyed with growth of population, long roads, huge numbers of vehicles and rise in the numbers of foreign workers, lead to recruit a large number of police personnel to organize the traffic movement in the country and other experts to improve the traffic system in the state. When the traffic law No. (17) of 1968 didn’t comprise whole parts of traffic requirements that convoy with the cultural awakening of that time, The traffic law No.(10) for the year 1979 was issued. Established by the Government of Qatar in 2005, the Qatar Financial Centre (“QFC”) is an on-shore centre which has become an integral part of Qatar’s economy and rapid growth story and is fulfilling its mandate to help build a world-class financial and business environment in Qatar, providing a platform for domestic, regional and international growth. The QFC comprises four independent bodies: the QFC Authority; the QFC Regulatory Authority; the Civil and Commercial Court (First Instance and Appellate Divisions); and the Regulatory Tribunal.
The QFC Authority is the commercial and strategic arm of the QFC; it is responsible for developing and ensuring compliance with the QFC regulations and rules comprising the QFC’s legal and tax environments; it is responsible for the administration of the Companies Registration, Employments Standards and Immigration Offices respectively; and it is also responsible for the licensing of all firms applying to conduct non-regulated permitted activities. The QFC continues to attract a broad range of leading regulated and non-regulated firms, both domestic and international.
QFC-licensed firms benefit from an environment which operates to international standards, with a legal system based on English Common Law, regulation which is risk and principles-based and a competitive tax regime. Business can be carried out in or from the QFC, in local or foreign currency. Uniquely, this allows businesses to operate both locally and cross-border. Furthermore, the QFC allows 100% ownership by foreign companies and all profits can be remitted outside of Qatar.

Indian Cultural Centre is the Official Body of Indian expartriate community functioning under the patronage of Embassy of India for the purpose of advancement of sports, social and cultural activities of the Indian community in Qatar.
